Day 1 : Nairobi to Ol Pejeta

Take a breath of cool air in the morning as you wave goodbye to the capital; you won’t be back for a while. At 7 am, the driver will collect you from a Nairobi rendezvous taking you on the road trip through Marura road to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

After checking in at the non-profit conservancy, you will participate in multiple activities, including visiting the rhino and chimpanzee habitats, learning about conservation efforts, and going on a game drive.

Day 1 : Nairobi to Ol Pejeta

Take a breath of cool air in the morning as you wave goodbye to the capital; you won’t be back for a while. At 7 am, the driver will collect you from a Nairobi rendezvous taking you on the road trip through Marura road to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

After checking in at the non-profit conservancy, you will participate in multiple activities, including visiting the rhino and chimpanzee habitats, learning about conservation efforts, and going on a game drive.

Day 2 : Ol Pejeta to Serena

Day 2 : Ol Pejeta to Serena

Day 3 : Serena to Samburu

The early morning will find you on the road to Samburu National Reserve. This 6-hour drive is filled with spectacular views of the county.

After securing accommodation, you will go on a game drive and may have time to visit the Samburu tribe. You will catch amazing views of the Ewaso Ngiro River and animals like elephants, giraffes, big cats, ostriches, and zebras.

Day 3 : Serena to Samburu

The early morning will find you on the road to Samburu National Reserve. This 6-hour drive is filled with spectacular views of the county.

After securing accommodation, you will go on a game drive and may have time to visit the Samburu tribe. You will catch amazing views of the Ewaso Ngiro River and animals like elephants, giraffes, big cats, ostriches, and zebras.

Day 4 : Samburu to Nakuru

Then it’s from Nanyuki to further down in the rift, entering Lake Nakuru National Park. You will go bird watching to catch some of the 450 species that live within the park.

You will go on a game drive and meet the many large mammals, including rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, waterbucks, gazelles, lions, leopards, impalas, and elands. The rhino sanctuary is a must-visit, as are the sites like lion hill and baboon cliff.

Day 4 : Samburu to Nakuru

Then it’s from Nanyuki to further down in the rift, entering Lake Nakuru National Park. You will go bird watching to catch some of the 450 species that live within the park.

You will go on a game drive and meet the many large mammals, including rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, waterbucks, gazelles, lions, leopards, impalas, and elands. The rhino sanctuary is a must-visit, as are the sites like lion hill and baboon cliff.

Day 5 : Nakuru to Masai Mara

You’ll keep heading further down to visit the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, welcomed by the scent of adventure. 

After securing accommodation, you will head on a game drive exploring the vastness of this savannah wilderness. Expect to see all the big five, plus zebras, hippos, and the famous wildebeests.

Day 5 : Nakuru to Masai Mara

You’ll keep heading further down to visit the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, welcomed by the scent of adventure. 

After securing accommodation, you will head on a game drive exploring the vastness of this savannah wilderness. Expect to see all the big five, plus zebras, hippos, and the famous wildebeests.

Day 6 : Masai Mara Exploration

Mornings start early in the Mara with a sunrise game drive to catch the grazers looking for pasture, predators stalking prey, and elephants leading their young to water holes.

You will pass by the fantastic balloon tour spot where you can join elite ranks by going on a hot air balloon safari at an added cost. After breakfast, you leave with a packed lunch and spend the day exploring on a vehicle with a terrific tour guide.

Day 6 : Masai Mara Exploration

Mornings start early in the Mara with a sunrise game drive to catch the grazers looking for pasture, predators stalking prey, and elephants leading their young to water holes.

The vast waters welcome you with the promise of a magical boat ride across if the weather permits. Besides this, expect to see a lot of birdlife on the banks of the lake and flying overhead. You can also visit the animals at Crescent Island, in the game sanctuary.

Day 7 : Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha

After leaving Kenya’s ultimate wildlife hub, you will head to the bird destination known as Lake Naivasha.

The vast waters welcome you with the promise of a magical boat ride across if the weather permits. Besides this, expect to see a lot of birdlife on the banks of the lake and flying overhead. You can also visit the animals at Crescent Island, in the game sanctuary.

So bring your best binoculars as you explore on the game drive. You will also meet a lot of bird species and varied wildlife, including big cats, giraffes, and zebras.

Day 8 : Lake Naivasha to Amboseli

From Naivasha, you will head to southern Kenya and visit the famous Amboseli National Park. The southern park is the ultimate place to view elephants and catch panoramic views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 10 : Saltlick to Tsavo East

Sadly, you will have to leave this haven and travel to Tsavo East National Park, where things promise to look up. It is home to many animals and bird species which you will visit via an interactive game drive in the park. 

Expect to meet multiple animal species, including big cats, rhinos, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, gazelles, and the 500 species of prolific birdlife

Day 10 : Saltlick to Tsavo East

Sadly, you will have to leave this haven and travel to Tsavo East National Park, where things promise to look up. It is home to many animals and bird species which you will visit via an interactive game drive in the park. 

Expect to meet multiple animal species, including big cats, rhinos, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, gazelles, and the 500 species of prolific birdlife

Day 11 : Tsavo East to Nairobi
